USING BEACH CLEANERS FOR OIL SPILL CLEANUP

Beach cleaners can effectively remove tar balls, sludge, and weathered oil that wash up on the beach. Tine raking can scoop up coagulated oil once it has dried on the beach, which prevents laborious hand picking. The video bellow demonstrates the SURF RAKE's successful efforts to clean up the Deep Horizon Oil spill in 2010. Barber played an integral role in ensuring the fastest possible recovery of the Gulf's beaches.

Sifting also proves a strong option for removing oil. Learn more about sifting by visiting our sifting beach cleaner page and watching the related videos.
